Subject: Preview of a change coming in iOS 18 for Audio Ducking and Volume

Sample of new Audio Ducking and Volume settings in iOS 18

Below is about a 2 minute MP3 file demonstrating the effects of the new audio
Ducking settings in iOS 18. The volume can be set up to 199% while Audio
Ducking is on or set to While Speaking. That means that the volume of whatever
is playing, music, phone menus at a bank, etc., or a book, will be lowered by
roughly the amount the Volume is set to over 100%. I demonstrate what happens
when the volume is set to 199%, 150% and 100% when music is playing. I am
using my iPad Mini 6 as since I don’t want to put betas on my iPhone in case
there are serious issues.

strength is based on who you beat down, instead of what we know the true
measure of your strength is based on, who you lift up." -- Kamala Harris
