OK, I’m clearly not paying attention today. No, it will not record phone calls. I was focused on recording Doctors… thinking in person, when he clearly stated phones calls.
I don’t know of any that will do that without a third party subscription. I don’t know if that will change in iOS 18. We should know for sure about iOS 18 next week when Apple does the big reveal.
