After some pretty annoying stuff throughout the Beta which in many cases didn’t apply to a lot of people, either, iOS 18 now is very good and while I can’t speak for Braille features since I use neither Braille input nor any Braille displays, if you just use Voiceover with speech there is no reason I can think of not to upgrade.
