If you are on Windows, there might be a program to do that. WALTRPro does that but it is now a not so cheap subscription and I don't know how accessible it is these days. I believe the Imazing program is supposed to do that too, but I have never used it. At this point, I'm still able to put music into iTunes and get it on my iPhone. There is no way to directly import from an SD card to the iPhone's music library without some program on a computer. It is likely easier on a Mac, but I don't know as I have never owned a Mac.
