Android has more choice of phones because there are many manufacturers of them. I too love my iPhone 13 mini but am thinking of upgrading; well, sort of thinking about it; want to play with Apple intelligence and there’s the USBC port. On the other hand: I’ve got a nice charger which charges my Apple Watch, AirPods, and iPhone and use wireless charging so can manage quite well for now. I might get a better trade-in price now though than if I wait another year.
