As the subject line indicates, I used the Apple trade-in to get an Apple gift card for my iPhone 12 Mini. And figuring the trade-in values would go down, I initiated the trade-in over the weekend.
They offered me $140 on Saturday, whereas that value was reduced to $120 for offers initiated after the announcements on Monday. Also, for those of you who may not know, and I'm guessing it really does make sense, the trade-in values for opting for the gift card are less than for those when opting to trade for a new phone, with those for buying another phone when trading in the 12 Mini here in the US being $170 on Saturday and $150 on Monday. So, at least for now, I've replaced my iPhone 13 Mini with my iPhone 15 Pro as my main phone, and then I've switched the 13 Mini to my backup second line phone since I no longer have the 12 Mini for that purpose. And, oh wow, although I do plan to keep my 15 Pro, I'm sure having problems getting used to the larger size of that phone. It just seems so heavy and bulky in my hand after using the Mini phones. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
