How do you suggest is the best way to start learning a language. I have to disagree with you. Like you, Spanish is my first language, English then German. Have you tried out the Duolingo application? It has conversation modules and other types of modules that does well with exposing you to the language of choice. It does an excellent job with teaching you comprehension.
