In case anyone wants to know, I'm returning the Airpods Pro 2 for the following reasons.
1. I just cannot get used to having them in my ears. I much prefer the Airpods Pro Max or Shokz Bone Conduction headphones. 2. 2. I couldn't seem to really get the customization I wanted to stick. 3. 3. After going through some steps to somewhat mimick hearing aids prior to the full release of Apple's feature, I decided I don't need to wait for that. I am going to forward an article that I used to do the customizations to get an idea of what it would be like to use them as hearing aids. Note, the app mentioned in the article doesn't work with VoiceOver for doing a hearing test. You have to be able to hold a button down as soon as you hear a sample tone, etc., and that just doesn't work with VO. The email with that article will be called How to use Airpods as hearing aids with screen shots. If anyone else bought them through Amazon, and plan to return them for a refund, you will be prompted to have to talk with Amazon to confirm that you have forgotten them from your Apple ID and reset them to factory defaults. Then, they will arrange a UPS pickup for the next business day. Aple and Amazon have had people sending back things like socks or toothbrushes instead of the Apple product they purchased, so now they do a pickup so the driver can confirm it is the correct product.
