I just did a bit of Googling and there are certainly people asking the same thing and rumors Qardio is bankrupt. Their website is still up and running and Amazon apparently still offers their products for sale, nothing recent on their website under the “news” link. I posted the app was still in the app store, but I just had another look and I’ll retract my statement, the app I found when I searched for “Qardio” is called “Cardiio: heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter and analyser. I wasn’t paying too much attention and while spelled very differently, I was just swiping a bit quickly and it sounded almost the same.

I know Whitings makes some stuff, but if I remember from earlier threads those devices and apps aren’t totally accessible. My Qardio scale vibrates, so I know when it is taking a measurement. Not really wanting to replace all that stuff .. none of it is even 2 years old.
