Hi Mary Ellen,

Hello, I have a question about the Spectrum TV app. Does anyone know how to
switch in between channels using VoiceOver on the TV Guide portion of it on an
iPhone SE three and how to go up after you’ve heard the first four channels?
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much.

This topic came up on the list back in late August and I responded. To save
time, I'll post an excerpt from my response. By the TV Guide, are you talking
about the LIVE tab?

Here's the excerpt.

In the Live tab, I had to do a 3-finger swipe up/down to move among channel
groups. So, in order to get to channels 65 through 75 I'd 3-finger swipe down
several times until Voiceover told me what group I'd navigated to. Okay, so I
then would 3-finger swipe left to get to the time slot that I wanted, say the
time slot for 7 o'clock. I then could flick through that group listing to see
if Sports Net L.A. is showing tonight's Dodgers game. It is; the Dodgers play
Baltimore. Each 3-finger swipe left/right would move you by half-hour
increments. Now that I figured all this out, I was able to navigate much easier
then when I first glanced at the app.
Another thing that annoyed me was that channel numbers weren't displayed in the
group listing. So, if I didn't already know that Sports Net L.A. is on channel
68, who knows how long I'd have to mess around in order to find it, which is a
royal pain in the behind. . However, those additional onscreen controls do
help. The More Options button gives you the option to search for a channel by
name. In my case, I did a search for Sports Net LA HD, found and double-tapped
it, then in the resulting screen I found the network schedule option,
double-tapped that and lo and behold, there's a nice orderly chronological
listing for anything going on in channel 68. Indeed, I was able to confirm that
the Dodgers game is at 7 PM tonight. Continuing to flick through the schedule,
I could also see what's happening tomorrow and everything else until September
9.
Other controls include Filters, the aforementioned More Options button,
Minimize Video, Unmute Audio, Expand to Full Screen and a More controls button.

I hope this helps you.

Tom
