Hi all,

I received an Apple watch that use to belong to a friend who passed away.

The watch, I think a series 6, was given to me by my friend's widow.

I am brand new to Apple watches. This is the first Apple watch that I have
ever seen.

First, I need to know how to figure out if this device has a 4 digit unlock
code set up.

Next, I need to know how to unpair this watch. I am asuming that unpairing
is talking about unpairing this watch from my friend's old I Phone.

I was given my friend's I Cloud address and Apple password but his widow
doesn't know if there was an unlock screen code set up.

My goal is to completely reset this watch and then set it up on my own Apple
account.

I have access to my friend's email, and what I think is his old home screen.
I was able to get in to settings. Does this mean that no 4 digit code is
even necessary to get into this device.

Thanks a whole bunch to anyone for any help.

James B
