Hi Richard. I’m not seeing a setting for audio under accessibility. The only thing I see is audio/visual and there’s nothing about speaker under that. I’m looking at my phone which is still running IOS 17. Is this a new setting in IOS 18?

The setting is under Settings, Accessibility, Audio, Auto Select Speaker in call, which should be on. Right below that the explanation says: During audio calls, automatically switch to the speaker when not holding your iPhone to your ear. If you put your hand over the top of the phone, it has the same effect. I think you have to have the phone at least a foot or more away from your head for the switch to happen.
