Or, I’m also wondering if you are finding any other gestures or screen touches that are not working correctly. There were reports of some 16 pros having dead spots on the screen, but the 18.0.1 update was supposed to address that. Who knows. Do you have an Apple store anywhere near you where you could get it physically checked out? I just restored my backup to my old device, and it broke again. I then went into the Reset option and reset one set of options at a time without any luck. I then chose to reset all settings, and that fixed it. I really don't want to have to reset all settings on my new phone if I can help it.
