With checking calls, I found out that I was not hearing them come in. Silent Ring Mode was not on. I turned it off, then back on. Do not disturb was not on. Ring volume was at 100%. Bluetooth off and on was not in the Control Panel.
So, when I called for help, the lady was so helpful. She had me go to hearing, turn off Bluetooth, put my hearing aids on the charger, so they would not be connected in any way with the phone, turn Bluetooth back on, get out my hearing aids, and then it all worked. Bluetooth was on. I checked in Control Panel, and I could turn it on or off. I really complimented her. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
