I guess you have checked to make sure that Silent Ring Mode is not on and also that Do Not Disturb is not on. Then, what about going to Sounds and Haptics to see the percentage of your ring? After one update, for some strange reason mine was at 7%. I have not the slightest idea in the world why. Also, give your phone the boot with the Up Volume Button, Down Volume Button and Power Button.
