edit mode. This let's be go to the icon I want to move, flick down to drag,

I am using an iPhone 14+ running IOS 17.8. I want to delete and re-install an
app. On my old phone, running IOS 16.whatever, the gesture was double-tap and
hold to start editing the screen. Has the gesture changed?
