I recently subscribed to Hallmark plus. I have found that the app is
somewhat accessible. Many of the buttons are not labeled. Also, I cannot
get the search feature to work at all. In order to watch movies, I add them
to my watch list from my computer, and then I can watch them from the app.
The play button is not labeled, but I have memorized which button it is, it
is the first one in the list of buttons above the one that says checked or
unchecked, which is the add to watch list button. I hve also found that I
cannot minimize the screen including locking it while the movie is playing
because navigating away from the movie in any way causes it to stop
playing. I have also found that after a period of time ofnot watching a
movie, such as if you are in the middle of a movie and you have to leave
the app for a while, when you return to he app, you have to go to he watch
list and select th movie and select watch in order to continue watching the
movie. Luckily, the movie resumes from where you stopped.
So to sum up, this app is somewhat accessible, but it has a long way to go.
However, it does give me the option to watch hallmark movies on my time
schedule and the choice of what movie to watch then rather than just
getting the luck of the draw depending on what is currently playing on the
hallmark channel. I also can avoid Christmas movies until I am ready to
watch them which will not be until after Thanksgiving, so I will take what
I can get with this app.
