Everybody has their opinions, I'd much rather spend $500 or whatever less for the smallest storage phone and the largest and use that to pay for my subscriptions. I have over 1200 audio books in my Audible library, but I see absolutely no reason why I should have them all downloaded to my phone or even my computer since I can stream or download them on demand any time I want to re-listen to a book. I don't enjoy listening to eBooks with a synthetic voice and I don't think we have access to the BARD library or whatever it is called up here in Canada, but I understand that you can also download any book any time. Anyways, my thoughts on this, another way to look at it is that buying a Pro Max wiuth the highest storage every 5 years probably costs as much than buying a regular Pro with the lowest storage every 3 years so I'd rather upgrade more often and simply access my books when I want them. Same goes for music, I'd rather pay for an Apple Music subscription (or whatever service you choose) and I have access to their 100 Million tracks or whatever it is now rather than having a few thousand or even tens of thousands of songs stored locally on my phone.
