Did it maybe have to do with the 18.1.1 update? My Iphone 14Pro recognized the airtag, but when I connected and tried to name it, my Iphone took me to Settings and tried to get me to log in to my Icloud account, which I don’t use and I couldn’t name my airtag. Also, when I tried pushing the button to Name the airtag it closed the popup menu. When I tried double-tapping Add in Find my nothing happened. I tried connecting to and naming my airtag using my Iphone 8 and it worked as expected. My Iphone 8 is running Ios 17 something and can’t update to 18.1. Anyone else having this issue with IOS-18.1?
