Hello, perhaps you've misunderstood the purpose of these items. There would be no need to pair the tag with your computer. You use the Find My app or you'll log into your Apple account on the computer to track an item that has an Airtag. The Airtag connects into your Apple account once set up from your phone, but that's the extent of the setup.
