Hi, To get the rotor to edit mode, You must be in and edit field, then once you turn your rotor, edit mode will show up. Also to Select text, you can use the pinching gesture. That is where you take your fingers and put two of them on the screen, and slide them slightly apart, to select text. I am still trying to get this one down as well. For me, it's kind of tricky.
