I really don't know what the problem is. My calendar is also a team schedule, it's the Atlanta Falcons though. My calendar is always one hour ahead, so I get alerts an hour before the game starts. I have been thinking of trying another calendar to see if it solved the problem, but since yours works fine on the mac it must not be the calendar. It is a very curious problem.
