For the last month or so I have been playing with the app Recipe Keeper. So far I am really liking it. There is a pro version that I think I will probably end up buying. Eventually I can connect with the smart speaker which I find interesting.

The other downside I see is the subscription, it is getting to a point where one really has to select carefully what subscriptions are absolutely necessary because even $2.99 a month adds up and if you have 10 apps with a similar cost then suddenly you spend $400 or $500 a year on subscriptions in edition to what most of us have already, e.g. Apple Music or an Apple Bundle, Netflix, maybe Disney, maybe Amazon Prime or another TV subscription, possibly a Microsoft 365 and on and on. It's also interesting how a monthly family subscription is $2.99 which works out to $35.88 a year, but the annual subscription shows as $39.99; unless you get something additional with that one would expect to pay less for an annual subscription than for a monthly subscription, e.g. $29.99 annual instead of the $2.99/month or $35.88 a year.

 

When I look at this app on the app store I noticed there are quite a few other recipe manager apps and most of them get very good reviews as well, here are a few that are listed in the "You may also like" section, none of them mention Voiceover accessibility:

Check the spelling, VoiceOver does not say it like it’s spelled.

Works on Mac, IOS and iPadOS. They are great with making sure VoiceOver works. You can import recipes all different ways. With a link, scan it, or even copying pasting yourself in the various fields.
