Of course Alison as you allude to, the double-tap is quite a nuisance on
the iPhone for sure, I just hat that it does that.
It appears that I can't get rid of the audio, close it down properly and
the only way I have to so do is open an app such as VD scan andthe audio
file disappears.
It's not the definitive I'm afraid but apart from dicttation that is all
I have for now unfortunately.
Incidentally this problem has been about for a long time now so wonder
if AppleVis know of it and atre they doing anything about it with Apple?

If you mean the two finger double tap in an edit field, yes, it
appears to be a bug and needs to be reported to Apple.
I have begun using the dictation button which only needs the single
finger double tap.
