I have no idea if apple.com will be anyy cheaper than say purchasing
over the phone but back-in-the-day as they say I knew very little about
the iPhone so that option worked for me at the time.
Of course there are other options that are cheaper and I understand that
Apple too have refurnished phones with the necessary guarantees which
may be an option for some at a lower price. ]
