Hi again,

Whether I put the phone to my ear or move it out, the phone is lower. But since
I have kept raising the volume by using the side, volume up button, I'm
noticing that the volume has gradually become louder. Maybe it is working out
the problem on its own.

Thank everyone for your suggestions.

Shirley

The recommendation to turn up the volume while on a call may work.

But, where are you holding the phone when you find the volume dropping?

Is it near your ear, lying on a table, or what?

Does the phone go to the speaker if you have it near your head and then pull it
away about a foot and a half?

Subject: Two questions regarding IPhone 16E

Hello listers,

When I make or receive a phone call, the volume automatically drops. Siri and
Voiceover are set nicely. Is there a setting that will allow me to keep the
phone volume a little higher without having to tap the up volume several times
with each call?

Thank you,

Shirley Tracy
