I haven't used such but I have done some exploring on the matter and
here's briefly what I found:
Google Translate is available on iPhone and supports VoiceOver, Apple's
built-in screen reader for accessibility
. You can use speech translation to dictate words and phrases, and in
some languages, you can hear the translation spoken aloud
. If you're using an audible screen reader, it's recommended to use

Yes, I’m aware! I thought that the subject line was self-explanatory. I would
ideally like to be able to have voiceover on and have a conversation with
someone and have the app translate from one language to the other. Not sure
