What you describe is the app library and while I don't get bumped into that when ending a phone call, I always end up there when I unlock my phone for the first time with my PIN after a reboot. Also whenever I use a Bluetooth keyboard I get kicked into the app library if I turn the Bluetooth keyboard off. You can get out by doing a swipe up from the bottom, same gesture you use to get out of an app back to the home screen, but sometimes you have to do that gesture and right away put your finger down somewhere in the middle, it's almost like you have to hold on to the home screen or else it will revert back into the app library. I would highly recommend you report this to [email protected] , just tell them that each time you hang up a call with a 2-finger double tap you end up with focus in the app library. I am planning to do some screen recordings showing how this happens to me when I first enter my PIN after a reboot and with the Bluetooth keyboard; it used to happen a lot more but fortunately it is not so often any more.
