I recently had surgery that went well. However, there are some permanent spinal cord issues that have led to some pretty serious falls. I can’t use a manual chair because my one arm is pretty much not working well due to the injury in my neck. So I’m thinking about trying to integrate the Ray-Ban glasses With Aira and be my eyes for interpreting my environment. I’m sadly going to have to probably give up going out for walks. My interest is mainly if I wanted to go out and meet somebody for dinner or go for a social event, it would probably be a lot of paratransit to the door. I haven’t known anyone in a similar situation and I’m seeking any suggestions and advice that will help me maintain the independence that I have left.
I would ask it people read this message if you’re not interested or don’t have anything that you can think of that would be helpful, please don’t start jumping on me about this is not the list I’m trying to integrate what technology the iPhone has to offer to make my life as good as it can be for as long as it will be.
