I personally prefer Downcast, but mostly just because of the fact that I follow Dutch-language podcasts in addition to English-language ones and even though both Downcast and Overcast are only available in English, with Overcast VoiceOver deteccts this and reads my Dutch-language podcast titles with an English accent so to speak. That to me is more annoying than the reverse. I also didn’t like the fact that Overcast became harder to use after its major upgrade about a year ago, though I think it’s back to being intuitive again.
