selecting speaker from the device type worked, but oarly after first restarting my phone. So, all's well that ends well.
I am guessing you are talking about the type within the buetooth settings for that speaker; have you tried setting it as a speaker instead?

Hello Listers,I know this has been discussed before. But, after a long time when my Bose speaker would play voiceOver announcements through my iPhone, suddenly, it's playing voiceOver through the speaker, instead. I had the settings set to "other" and when I checked out the settings last night, I made sure this was set again. But voiceOver continues to play through the speaker.
