I just updated to that version, realized what I had was I think from yesterday, but it was 25.19.something so I checked for updates and I had 25.20.5. After I updated I sent a voice message to myself and nothing had changed, as soon as I locked the recording by tapping the button and swiping up, Voiceover said “Sent, button” and while I was recording I could swipe around the screen and Voiceover read the Sent button and other stuff. I should mention that I am running the iOS 26 Developer Beta so maybe that is the difference for me or it could be one of these strange issues which some experience and others don’t.

For some users the record button is disappearing at all in chats, most times tap and hold is working properly but after sweeping up or just leave the finger off the screen there is no possibility to navigate or even find the send button. Some folks tell the button is reachable sweeping to the left but others contradict this. Which is sure is there are accessibility problems in this version so please wait with this update. I know this app is for many of us an important means of communication so be careful with this update. Maybe the following days or hours we will hear about solutions and workarounds.
