Good question. Here in the US, grocery stores use Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Shipt.
Walmart has their own delivery service, as well as Krogers which is another grocery store. The bright side is you can make orders to multiple stores from one app. The down side as you pointed out is the price of markup, and service fees. It is cheaper than taking ride share to the store, finding help if you are lucky, then going back home.
