Well, maybe.
I found this info on the Apple web site:
Apple Watch Model, Series 2
Compatible iPhone, iPhone 5 or later
Compatible iOS, iOS 10 or later*
Compatible watchOS, watchOS 3 to watchOS 6.3

So, it could work, but the Watch OS will be limited to whatever was in the
WatchOS6.3.
So, it is worth a try.
If you run into trouble, call Apple Accessibility, 877-204-3930
They are around 24/7.

Subject: Apple watch question

I recently acquired an old Series 2 Apple Watch. Will I be able to pair this
thing and get it to work either with an iPhone 8 running IOS 16.7 or with an
iPhone S E 2020, running IOS 18.1?

Thanks in advance.

Don Roberts
