Due to the accident in which I became blind back in 1984, I also lost the index
and middle finger on each hand so doing a 4-finger tap with 3 fingers it not
usually practical for me.
I therefore have assigned a 1-finger triple tap to go to the first element on
the screen and a 1-finger quadruple tap to go to the last element, basically
what a 4-finger single tap does if performed on the top or bottom half of the
phone.
However, if I am sitting at my desk or at a table and don't have to hold my
phone, I can use 2 fingers on each hand to do a 4-finger tap and I don't find
it particular difficult and it typically works and does what it is supposed to
do.
I think what you are activating is Voiceover quick settings, can't remember if
there is a default gesture for that.

Siegar,

looks like that I then inadvertently activated the accessibility settings page
although I thought that I only placed four fingers once toward bottom of screen.

I will havve a re-try and more carefully try the gesture again.

Incidenttally is this the gesture you use or do you have anothe trick under
your sleeve?

Thanks,

Tony
