There is no password for WhatsApp unless you have set up 2-step verification in which case you select a PIN and from time to time you will be asked to verify said PIN. If this person somehow has access to your WhatsApp account, this can only happen if they at some point had access to your phone and were able to set up your WhatsApp number on another device, but fort his to work, they had to scan a QR code with your phone. Is it possible they had access to your phone? One thing you can do is open WhatsApp, then tap on Settings at the bottom right, then look for “Linked Devices”. If you have never set up WhatsApp on a computer or iPad or anything like that, but it shows anything then you can log out of that device. For example, I have WhatsApp set up on my laptop, so I see the following under the “Linked Devices” heading: Windows, last active June 23, 2025 Right underneath it says “Tap a device to log out”. I also own a pair of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses which I have linked to WhatsApp so I also have a heading called “Peripherals” and under that I see: Meta Glasses, last active yesterday at 12:39 PM Underneath that again it says “Tap a peripheral to unpair”. Once again, if all you do is use WhatsApp on your iPhone then nothing at all should be showing under Linked Devices or Periferals and if it does I would double tap on it to log out, nobody can log back in unless they have physical access to your iPhone.
