Before posting my question to the list, I tried asking Siri to open Control Center. The response was, "It doesn't look like you have an app named Control Center. You can search for it in the app store."
i also got that response just now when I tried it while composing this post.

--And another couple methods, use Siri to open Control Center or, in my case, set up a back tap command to do it. I have the double tap on back to open control center.
for the person who asked about turning off Bluetooth from the control center, you can also ask Siri to do it.

Touch the top of the screen. Then, do a three finger swipe up from the bottom of the screen. That should do it.

My iPhone is a 14+ running IOS 18.6.2. I checked under settings to find out how to access the control center. I need to use the scan barcode feature. Swiping down from right edge does not work for me at all. I just run into apps on my home screen.
