Hi. I had to change my password to my Apple account due to someone trying to hack it. All went well with my old iPhone. I thought it would be the same with my iPad. I couldn't have been more wrong. You'd think Apple would make sure their way of doing things was accessible. Well, it's pretty much not. I looked for the edit box where I'd enter in the code from my iPhone, but it wasn't there. I was on the phone with Apple Accessibility for several hours, and nobody had much luck with it. Finally, someone recommended turning screen recognition on. At first, I didn't think it worked, but I did notice some image things along with a field where text could be entered. Problem with this is each number of the code is in its own edit area, and for a number of times, it didn't work. I had somewhere to go, and was about to put it aside, when I tried again, and it worked. Now, you'd think that was all there was to it, but nope. Screen recognition scrambled my settings screen, and the Apple guy who helped me couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was pretty worn out, and didn't realize I was thinking of some Android ways to move the focus around. In the end I made an appointment at the genius bar, and went there early today. The woman helping me was as stumped as I was, but I found I think two settings that needed to be changed. Now it works as well as ever, but I pray I don't have to do anything with changing my Apple password again. In the end, I was at the Apple store for about 4 hours, because after fixing my iPad, I went to work getting an iPhone 13 up and running. I'll tell you all my thoughts on that phone in another message, but just to mention, it's working fine.
Just sharing my past couple of days. Have a blessed day and don't work too hard. Kevin and Lily the shrimpy lover -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
