Another approach to this is if you do a single finger triple tap on the app store icon it will bring up a context menu. Flick right with one finger through that until you get to the Search item and double tap. Then, you will be in the search field ready to type the app name you are searching for. Once you have entered the name, and double tapped on the search or return button in the lower right; Flick right with one finger through the results and when you find the one you want, if you double tap on the name, it opens the details where you can read all about the app, or if you are sure it is the app you want, flick right beyond the name of the app to the Get button and double tap. Then you will have to confirm the download with a double press of the side button. IN the details of the app if you double tap on the name and there are in-app purchases, you can read way down toward the end of all that detail to in-app purchases and double tap and read what the in-app purchases cost.
