I never use the back tap as it can trigger when you don't want it, so given
your situation, that makes sense.

Subject: Re: Frustrated: typing braille on screen with iOS 26.1

Hello Richard,

Thx for your answer.

It's nothing about the command-mode against the command-mode since it makes no
different if swiping with 3 fingers to switch the braille-imput-mode or the
command-mode.

I mean, that's what I think.

But I see another difference/workaround:

If I do a doubletab at the back side of my phone to enter braille-typing, the
problem exists.

When I use the rotor to start the braille-typing mode, it works fine as far as
I see today.

I send this workaround also to apple accessibility.

If it is searching for apss you are likeln in braille command mode instead of
braille entry mode.

I often insert braille entry mode in the middle of something I was writing and
needed to stop and go back. You have to be sure where your cursor is before
entering braille entry mode.

Aand also, typing in the middle of a written text with the braillescreen

Thx for the fast response.

Pls let me know asap why typing text with the braillescreenkeboard in a
editfield results sometimes in searching apps without typing.

Any suggestions?
