Hi all! The thing with the BARD app is that it’s actually one of the better book reading apps that I know of that’s out there. I’ve had very few issues with it and mind you, I’ve used it ever since it was published in 2013. I have very few issues with NLS products in general with a few acceptions which are BARD Express for Windows, which I personally don’t like because I’ve had nothing but problems with that app and the rare bug on the Humanwhare Ereader that I’ve had ever since the latest update came out which is that it won’t refresh the wishlist on the Humanwhare Ereader itself and it also won’t refresh the Bookshare’s Most Recently Downloaded list. When they transferred to the cloud storage, I ran into my share of connectivity issues, but they have gotten a lot better over the last few years. The rest has been a very smooth experience. I’ll add that I can’t yet speak to the new digital players because I’m still waiting for my own to arrive and it should show up at my house any day now. As for the app itself, I've have always enjoyed it a lot apart for the times when I’ve experienced poor connectivity bugs, but they’re totally gone now. I have always loved the BARD app itself. I’m glad they added in the search feature because it totally makes up for the time when they took away their web browser a while back. Speaking of searching, their general search engine has improved a lot over the years. I also like the new BARD.2 website as well. I just wish they would give BARD Express a make over!!!! Kendra
