For canned foods, I would try be my eyes. It seems like it does a pretty good job with those kind of things. I have had trouble with seeing AI with curve surfaces as well but it also works if you're patient with BMI eyes if taking a picture isn't working out for you for the cans. You can always go to the get support and contact of volunteer and have them tell you what it is.

I find that it's a matter of 'trial and 'error' but in time it usually works out okay.

I had a card dropped in my letterboxx today which felt official and had a few attempts to read it, it showing differtnt bits of the message each time but I worked it out.

I well remember the time [and not too long ago either] we had no such apps so technology is aiding us and that cazn only to be a good thing.

Well, I have to practice with it more.
I took a couple canned goods out of my small pantry since I got two pantries in my kitchen.
Normally, with the meta glasses, I would not be able to read what I did today.
So even though it was hit and miss.
For example it caught enough of the stuff that I knew it was cream of mushroom soup.
The other can was snap peas.
I tried to get it to read the jar of strawberry jam, I was having a hard time with that.
It was able to read the front of my Instant Pot pretty good you know that display with the buttons.

I was standing in front of the Keurig referring where you make the individual coffee.
It read the top of that as well.
I also stood in front of the t-fall grill and read some of that as well.
I pointed it toward the dish soap at the back of the sink, I couldn’t get it to read that.
Sometime I’ll have to try with some paper documents to see how it does.

I’ll have to see how it does reading the display on the dishwasher.
Also the washer and dryer as well.
also I opened the fridge.
I left the milk and where I keep it usually.
It was able to read the name of the milk.
I took out a bottle that felt like salad dressing.
It read that it was an Italian marinade.
You know basically the same as salad dressing.
I opened the bigger pantry. And it was able to read the boost as well on the shelf.
I opened one of the drawers in my coffee holder and it read hazelnut coffee.
I also wanted to see how I would do scan in a box.
So I left the hot chocolate box that you put in the pod things.
It was able to read the hot chocolate box as well.
Thanks for reading regarding this matter.

No problem Richard, a bit confusing but we're talking two separate apps here but generally doing the same thing.

Live Read is great from the short time I've used it: point and go'!

Subject: Live Readd

Hi folk,

I rechecked and this time to those to whom it may concern as they say, Live Read is now available in Ireland and presumably now in other countries also.

I tried it briefly and it's certainly an improvement on other simalar reading apps as I could just point the camera and 'bing' it started to read awasy for me.

Other such apps have their place no doubt but I haven't used them much I must admit.
