I did so a little before Christmas when I got mad once again at such a silly but impactful little bug. If you have your iPhone in your hand it's an easy thing to swipe focus to something else, but I often make or take phone calls during my approx. 25 minute walk from my house to my store in the morning whether it's for business or personal. I then hold my guide dog's harness in my left hand and my iPhone is usually in its belt holster and I either have the right side of my wired EarPods in my ear or I use the right side of my AirPods. In addition as I live in Northwestern BC where it's winter from early November to the end of March so my belt holster is usually underneath some sort of jacket and more often than not I am wearing gloves. If I then ask Siri to make a phone call and as soon as it connects I start hearingthe call duration read out by the second I get a little bit angry because it means I have to stop, take off a glove, dig out my iPhone from under my jacket and all just so I can move focus away from this area. I am currently using the first developer beta of iOS 26.3 which was released on December 15 and this still has not been fixed. I expect the second beta will come out next week now that the holidays are soon over and then there will be several more before iOS 26.3 is released to the public in late January or early February. Let's hope this will be fixed very soon.
