When in your Bookshelf, and focus is on a book, but it is not open, flick up with one finger through the various options, like all books in mysteries, all books by x author, etc. Double tap on the one you want. Note, because of some catalogging mistakes, it may miss some books in a series or even by that author. I double check book series by going to www.bookseriesinorder.com and searching for an author. It doesn't have everyone, but it is pretty darn good.
