Good glad I could help. Hopefully that takes care of it for you. I just tested it and it works well for me now as well. It is kind of annoying having that problem but I’m glad there was a workaround for it.

Yes, I see what you’re saying, I did not have Toggle Live Regions and Announcements selected in my Rotor so that option was not available, you are right, now I’ve selected it it is an option there too.

The reason why I turned Live Regions & Announcements off in VoiceOver’s Quick Settings with a product page open is for the change to be applied to Amazon only. I’ve not tested it as a global adjustment so cannot comment whether it would have an adverse effect in other situations.

Hello Malcolm, did you make sure your region item is turned off with the rotor for VoiceOver and the voiceover settings. I did a test of that and it works on my end. I own an iPhone 14.

Hello,I read this workaround on a FaceBook post so cannot take the credit for it.The issue: When navigating products pages on Amazon VoiceOver continually announces “Current Location”.To resolve this, when you have a product page open on Amazon, perform a two finger quadruple tap to enter VoiceOver Quick Settings. Scroll down until VoiceOver says “ Live Regions & Announcements (www.amazon.co.uk)”. Double tap to turn this off. Navigate to Done and double tap.This should suppress this unwanted announcement.
