Hi Tina,

If you follow the instructions about 5 or 10 minutes into the first Podcast
you can do this easily. Jonathan explains how the first thing he does is to
go into the control panel, type "q" for QuickTime, then go to the Browser
Tab and uncheck anything to do with MP3. The problem is that when you
install iTunes, it changes the default behavior of links like these. Instead
of getting the prompt whether you want to open or save the files they just
start playing in iTunes.

Anyhow, for now you can also get around to it by just goint to the Freedom
Scientific website, go to FS Casts, find episode 49 and then on the link for
the episode right click or use the context menu key and select "Save Target
As". This should bring up the standard Windows Save dialogue where you can
select the folder where you want then, change the name of the file if you
wish and save/download them.

Just as a tip, if you use Jaws, once you are on the page with all the
episodes, just use the Jaws Find (F3) feature and type in "episode 49" then
press enter. It will put you right there. Let me know if that works for you.

Sieghard

Hi,
These links start the podcasts playing. Is there a way to download these
podcasts so I can put them on my Stream, listen to them, and work with
ITunes to make it easier to use?

Thanks.
Tina

Hi Liz,

You may have to authorize your computer and this can be done in the store
menu, "Alt+S" will get you there, then arrow down to the bottom of that
menu.

You also may want to start with Jonathan Mosen's FS Casts on iTunes.
The
demo is with Jaws 12 and iTunes 10, but even though things have changed in
iTunes 11, you would still get a lot out of these especially if you enable
the Side Bar in the View menu (Alt+V) or with the Control+s shortcut.
This
makes iTunes 11 look more like iTunes 10 and many of the basic principals
still apply. Here are direct links to these FS Casts:
