The solution from Malcolm, who found it on a Facebook page: The issue: When navigating products pages on Amazon VoiceOver continually announces "Current Location".
To resolve this, when you have a product page open on Amazon, perform a two finger quadruple tap to enter VoiceOver Quick Settings. Scroll down until VoiceOver says " Live Regions & Announcements (www.amazon.co.uk <http://www.amazon.co.uk> )". Double tap to turn this off. Navigate to Done and double tap. This should suppress this unwanted announcement. It works for me on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Hope this has helped someone.
