Late to this query, but there are a ton of cold weather touch screen capable gloves available. Just search on any of the big retail sites with this search term or something similar and you should get a bunch of results to choose from. I've also read of a hack that involves gluing tinfoil to the glove fingertips for the touch screen to recognize taps and swipes. Have no experience with this though as I live in Southern California where the weather varies from hot to dear lourd, my face is melting hot...
