You might not like this answer, but the only headphones I have used where lag
is almost non-existent are the Airpods 4, I have the ones with active noise
cancellation, but you can get them without and they are not all that expensive.
Otherwise I have used cheap ones and expensive ones and sometimes the expensive
ones had more lag than cheaper ones, it is simply a fact of Bluetooth which is
why I absolutely can't tolerate Bluetooth speakers or headphones on my Windows
Pc. I have used computers with Jaws since 1989 and I have Eloquence set to
speak somewhat fast although not as fast as some may like, but I type fast and
navigate very fast and this is simply not possible with a Bluetooth audio
device. There is maybe one exception which is what I am currently using on my
laptop and that is a dedicated Bluetooth dongle (not the built-in Bluetooth) in
connection with a Bluetooth headset which supports the Bluetooth LL (Low
Latency) protocol. I forget the name of the dongle I have, but the headset I
use is from Creative and it's actually rather inexpensive, I think I paid
around $50 or $60 Canadian for it and it's an on-ear design similar to the old
Logitech H800, it has foam cushions which sit on the ears but not around the
ears which is much more comfortable and less hot and it's relatively light
weight compared to all these fancy over the ear headsets. Not sure how this
would work with the iPhone, but I don't think the iPhone supports Bluetooth LL
which in any case has been replaced as far as I know by a newer protocol which
from all I read is good, but not quite as good as the Low Latency protocol. Of
course as new Bluetooth standards emerge, this is likely to get better.

Subject: Blutooth headphones with VoiceOver

Can anyone recommend a set of Bluetooth headphones that works well with
voiceover? I have purchased several in the past but every time I use them, the
game or app that I’m using is really draggy, slow and hard to navigate. Any
suggestions why this is happening. I blame it on the headphones, but maybe it’s
some other issue. Please don’t reply with suggestions of buying very expensive
headphones, that’s not a possibility for me. Is there some setting on the phone
that I should be changing so they will work better? This happens no matter what
IOS I am running. I have an iPhone 13.
