Yesterday I received a text message, supposedly from gmail, advising me that my account had been compromised and to click the link provided to attend to my security. Believing this to be a scam, although not wishing to be compromised at the same time, I logged onto Google myself and changed the password associated with my Google account. However whilst the Google Home app and also my Google Drive app for iOS still log into my Google account OK, when I try to access my gmail either with the native mail app for iOS or Outlook for iOS I am unable to retrieve my mail and I can’t see anywhere in the mail settings where I can do anything like update the password. Please can someone advise me what I need to do? Many thanks in advance for any help forthcoming.
